Junior People & Talent Manager (w/x/m)

About you

As a Junior People & Talent Manager, you’ll help build, develop, and retain talent within DOJO. For our team, you are the go-to person for all people-related matters. You represent DOJO in all its facets, both internally and externally, and ensure smooth processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Your goal is to contribute to an open, creative, and bold culture.

Your mission

  • You will support, and over time take ownership, of the entire recruiting process, from active sourcing on relevant platforms to managing the full application process. 
  • You will draft job postings and publish them on our platforms.
  • You will gradually conduct all various types of employee interviews for junior and mid-level positions in close coordination with the team.
  • You will be responsible for HR administration and system maintenance in Personio.
  • You will support payroll preparation and will, over time, take ownership of individual entities.
  • You will act as the point of contact for the employment agency, health insurance providers, payroll tax office, and other external stakeholders.
  • You will manage our freelance network and coordinate the booking of freelance support in coordination with the responsible managers.
  • You will develop and implement your own HR projects (e.g. merch, internal formats).
  • You will act as the voice of employees, checking in empathetically on moods, needs, and ideas.
  • You will support the planning, concept, and execution of internal events (e.g. X-mas party, team events).

Your profile

  • You have completed vocational training or a degree in psychology, business or a related field
  • Ideally, you have additional training or a specialization in human resources management
  • You have some professional experience in operational HR, e.g., through internships
  • Ideally, you have some experience with HR software, this is a plus
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • You live in Berlin
